Project goal: To create a modern ecological and educational environment for schoolchildren and university students. The project envisages the implementation of specialized ecological educational programs for primary and secondary school pupils in border regions. These programs will include practical classes, excursions and ecological initiatives, the task of which is to help young people understand the importance of preserving the environment and biodiversity.
Expected results of the project: Creation of a modern information and exposition natural science educational center at UzhNU, where educational and popular science events will be held: lectures, trainings, classes, practices, excursions, etc. This center will provide an opportunity to naturalize the acquired knowledge of schoolchildren and students through the use of innovative educational technologies, to increase the level of environmental education and awareness.
The overall result of the project should be the formation of a conscious attitude of young people to the natural resources of the Carpathian region, the expansion and deepening of the practical component of training for secondary and higher education students.
The main aims of the project:
1. Create a center for natural and ecological education, which will serve as a platform for research and interdisciplinary cooperation.
2. Engage schoolchildren and students, as well as a wide range of other visitors and tourists, in deepening their knowledge about the nature of the Carpathians through interactive exhibitions, multimedia presentations and excursions.
3. Introduce specialized environmental programs for primary and secondary school students in border regions. These programs will include practical classes, excursions and environmental projects and will aim to help young people understand the importance of preserving the environment and biodiversity.
