BOYKO Nadiya - Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology, Director of the Research and Training Center for Molecular Microbiology and Mucosal Immunology of Uzhhorod National University

Disciplines - Microbiology with the basics of virology and immunology, epigenetics, human microbiome, nutriomics, metabolomics, evidence-based medicine and other omics disciplines

Candidate of Sciences since 1994, Senior Researcher since 1995. Doctor of Science since 2010. The total length of service at Uzhhorod National University is 33 years. In the teaching position since 1994, including 12 years as a professor of microbiology, virology and immunology with a course of infectious diseases and a year as a professor of basic medical disciplines, 2 years as head. Department of CLDF, in 2019 was awarded the academic title of Professor of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology, Faculty of Dentistry. From 2000 to 2006 she studied for a doctorate at Uzhhorod National University and did an internship as a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He has more than 300 scientific and educational works, including more than 100 works in professional scientific journals, more than 60 publications in publications included in scientometric databases, as well as 2 monographs. Over the last three years, more than 40 works have been published, including more than 30 articles in professional journals, and about 15 indexed publications. in scientometric databases SCOPUS and WOS, about 10 educational and methodical works. Actively and systematically participates in domestic and international symposia, conferences, seminars; often with invited reports (about 150 events during the years of work at both departments: 2006-2021, of which about 50 invited reports). Participates actively in international projects and in professional Expert meetings:

  • Member of the Specialized Academic Council D 26.233.01 for the defense of doctoral dissertations at the Institute of Microbiology and Virology. DK Zabolotny NAS of Ukraine.
  • Member of the expert council of the Ministry of Education and Science, section 15 - Biology (examination of projects of scientific works, scientific and technical (experimental) developments).
  • Member of the expert council on the examination of dissertations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in biological sciences (SAC).
  • Expert of the Commission for Research at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
  • Member of the Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

She is a member of the editorial board of scientific journals:

  • Microbial Ecology in Health and Diseases
  • Microbiological Journal
  • EC Nutrition, PubMed Central
  • Invited editor of the journal "Human microbiome and Personalized nutrition"
  • Co-editor of the book "Microbiome and 3P medicine: the first medical protocols".

Under the supervision of Professor N. Boyko 5 dissertations were defended for the degree of Candidate of Biological and Medical Sciences, currently 2 more such works are being performed under her supervision.

Member of the Society of Mucosal Immunology (SMI, USA), Society of Microbial Ecology and Human Diseases (SOMED), American Society of Anaerobes (ANAEROBES), Society of Microbiologists of Ukraine (TMU), Chairman of the Transcarpathian Branch.

Since 2020, Uzhhorod National University is an official organizational member of EPMA (European Association for Foresight, Preventive and Personalized Medicine). Nadiya Volodymyrivna Boyko is the Ambassador of the Global Harmonization Initiative in Ukraine, a member of the Association of Pharmabiotics, etc.

She has managed about 50 research projects, about 20 of which are funded by various funds - the Ministry of Education and Science, the EU, including projects of the Seventh Framework Program and Horizon 2020.

Boyko N. constantly raises its scientific level. He has certificates in various areas of research (EIT, the creation of innovative foods, is an Expert in Composite Databases of Food, Bacteriology, Technology Transfer, etc.).

Acting as Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Dentistry since 2021.

At the initiative of the head of the department prof. NV Boyko elective courses are taught for students of medical and pharmaceutical faculties, in particular: "Evidence-based medicine" (teacher Boyko N., developers Boyko N., Rukavchuk R.), "Development of the pharmaceutical industry" teacher and developer Candidate of Biological Sciences Yusko L.), "Biopharmacy and Pharmacokinetics" (developer Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences Vrakin V.).

For significant achievements in professional activities and conscientious fruitful work N. Boyko was awarded thanks to Uzhhorod National University, Regional State Administration, Ministry of Health.

ZADOROZHNA Tetyana – Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

Disciplines – pharmacology.

Senior researcher, research experience 33 years, teaching - 12 years.

She graduated from the Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod State University. She worked in the NGO "Rehabilitation" of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as a senior researcher, taught as an associate professor at the Eastern European Slavic University, Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology, Uzhgorod State University.

The experience of treatment of children with bronchial asthma with the use of speleotherapy in the mine of the rock salt deposit Solotvyno deposit and artificial salt aerosol environment became the basis of the candidate's work. During the work (1982-84) the analysis of individual fluctuations of pituitary-thyroid mechanisms in the implementation of health rehabilitation measures was introduced for the first time in the country. In connection with the Chernobyl accident, she developed an approach, principle and methods of rehabilitation of victims of the consequences immediately after the event. For the first time in the region she organized a radioimmunological laboratory (1986), which identified hypothalamic-pituitary-peripheral hormonal mechanisms of influence of the accident and rehabilitation measures, including the use of Transcarpathian mineral waters and speleotherapy.

Co-author and author of more than 100 scientific publications, 2 textbooks, 2 monographs.

GOBLYK Kalyna – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

Discipline - "Histology, cytology and embryology"

She graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Uzhhorod State University in 1994. She defended her dissertation on the topic: "Biotope differentiation and indicator value of the population of the Transcarpathian lowlands."

She is the author of ten scientific papers.

Two new to science taxa Neonaphorura zakarpatika and Neonaphorura graffi are described

Based on the results of the work, eight biomarkers of ecological quality of soils are proposed.

MELESHKO Tamara – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

Disciplines - Microbiology with the basics of virology and immunology and Histology, cytology and embryology for Ukrainian and foreign students, practical classes.

In 2014 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of Odessa National University. II Mechnikov and qualified as a microbiologist. In 2017 she graduated from graduate school. From 2014 to present - researcher at the Research and Training Center for Molecular Microbiology and Immunology of Mucous Membranes SHEI "UzhNU", researcher DB DB 828P "Composite biological products from microorganisms, plants and nanosounds" (2014), DB topic 857P "Biological disinfectants and prevention of biofilms" (2015-2016), F76 "Development of immunobiotics based on lactobacilli for the prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the genitourinary system" (2017), DB topic 875P "Implementation of new approaches in the creation and use of modern pharmaceuticals "(2017-2019), DB topic 901 P" Personalized approaches to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of vascular diseases with prognostic modeling of individual development of atherosclerosis. "      

In 2015 she completed the course "13 th International Graduate Course on the Production and Use of Food Composition Data in Nutrition", which took place in Wegeningen, the Netherlands. In 2016 , as part of the BacFoodNet project, she underwent an internship at the ATB Institute in Potsdam, Potsdam, Germany. She also took a practical training course "Workshop Data Collection and Checking of Food Composition Data" in Bratislava, Slovakia.     

Author and co-author of more than 25 scientific papers, 1 textbook, 2 methodological papers and 2 patents.

In 2021 she defended her dissertation on "Intestinal microbiota in common non-communicative human diseases and its personalized correction in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes" and received the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in 03.00.07 - microbiology.

 YUSKO Lesya - Candidate of Biological Sciences, Lecturer of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology. Head of the department.

Disciplines - pharmacology, clinical immunology.

In 2002 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

From 2004 to 2008 she studied at the graduate school of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2009 she defended her dissertation and received the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty 03.00.06 - virology.


In 2001-2002 she worked in the department of cellular systems of the Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology. RE. Kavetsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

From 2005 to 2018 she worked at the Transcarpathian Territorial Center for Plant Quarantine of the NAAS of Ukraine, first as a scientific secretary and then as a senior researcher.

Author and co-author of over 25 scientific papers.

PALLAG Oleksandra – Candidate of Biological Sciences, the Assistant of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

Disciplines: biological and bioorganic chemistry

She graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Uzhhorod National University in 2013 with a degree in ecology and environmental protection, master's degree. Theme of master's work: "Obtaining hybrid organo-inorganic materials based on layered oxides of Fe (III), Co (III) and Mn (III) as materials for energy-saving technologies". From 2013 to the present day - Research Fellow of the Research and Training Center for Molecular Microbiology and Immunology of Mucous Membranes UzhNU, Research Fellow DB 828P "Composite biological products from microorganisms, plants and nanosounds" (2013), DB Topic 857P "Biological disinfectants and prevention of biofilms" (2015) In 2014, within the project "BacFoodNet" participated in the international symposium "Current Situation in the Agri-Food Sector Related to Microbial Risk of Fresh Produce and Process Water »Murcia, Spain.

On May 7, 2021 she defended her dissertation on the topic: " Formation of bacterial biofilms under the influence of biologically active substances of plant origin " specialty 03.00.07 - microbiology.

Co-author of more than 20 scientific publications, 2 methodological works and 2 patents.

 BORSHOSH Sviatoslav – the Assistant of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

Disciplines - histology, cytology and embryology.

2012 - 2017 - studied at the Faculty of Biology, Uzhgorod National University, received a qualification "Master of Biology". 

2012 - 2018 - studied at the Medical Faculty of Uzhhorod National University, received a diploma of "specialist" with a professional qualification level of doctor.

He worked in 2017 at the medical center "Intersono".

2018 - 2021 - studied in an internship with a surgical specialization, specialization in intern obstetrician-gynecologist.

2021 - to date - an employee of the medical center PlusMed, On the basis of the center passed a specialization in hysteroscopy-resectoscopy, also received a specialization in ultrasound.

LIPEI Ivan - Assistant of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology, Head of the Pharmacy.

Discipline: pharmacology.

From 2006 to 2011 he studied at the Medical Faculty of Uzhhorod National University. Specialty: pharmacy.

From 2008 to 2013 he studied at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Technology of the National University of Pharmacy. Specialty: biotechnology.

From 08.2011 to 06.2012 he passed an internship in general pharmacy and received a certificate of general pharmacist.

From 02.2013 to 03.2013 he took advanced training courses in the organization and management of pharmacy at LNMU. D. Halytsky, received a certificate of pharmacist - organizer.

 BURMEI (TYMOSHCHUK) Svitlana is a post-graduate student of the 2nd year of study majoring in 091 biology. Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology. Research topic "New technological aspects of designing means of personalized correction of intestinal microbiome"

She graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Uzhhorod National University in 2013 with a master's degree. Theme of master's work "Spectrophotometric determination of morin with basic dyes", 2013.

Also in 2019 she graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Uzhhorod National University and received a master's degree in biology. The topic of the master's thesis is "Vectors of distribution of ESKAPE pathogens in aquatic ecosystems of Uzhgorod region".

The experience of scientific and pedagogical work in universities of III-IV level of accreditation is 4 years, including 3 years as an assistant at the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

She has 12 scientific and a number of educational and methodical works.

According to the profile of the department's work, 3 methodological works were submitted for publication.

Participated in 20 scientific and scientific-methodical conferences from September 2017 to September 2021.

RUKAVCHUK Roman – post-graduate student of the 4th year of study, specialty 091 biology, Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology. Research topic: "Information system for the correction of the human microbiome with the help of microorganisms and edible plants"

He graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Uzhhorod National University in 2017 with a master's degree. In the same year he entered the graduate school of Uzhgorod National University.

Since 2017, he has been an employee of the Research and Training Center for Molecular Microbiology and Immunology of Mucous Membranes of Uzhhorod National University (DB 875P "Implementation of New Approaches to the Creation and Use of Modern Pharmabiotics").

In 2021 he graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Uzhhorod National University, Master.

Author and co-author of 12 scientific publications.

He is interested in information technologies, geographic information systems, databases, their use in various fields and bioinformatics.

MYKULINA Maryna - laboratory assistant of the department of clinical-laboratory diagnostics and pharmacology

She graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Uzhgorod State University in 1984.

After graduating from the university she worked as an engineer in SKTB "Quantum", M.Sc. and engineer of state budget topics of the Department of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology, Department of Entomology, Institute of Information Registration Problems of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Hobbies: reading, needlework.

 

 

SOKOLOV Oleksandr – laboratory assistant of the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and Pharmacology.

He studied at Uzhhorod National University and qualified as a chemist. From 1993 to 2014 he worked as a technological engineer at production facilities in Uzhgorod. Organizes technological processes, including installation and testing of laboratory equipment.
