UzhNU students have been informed about the dangers of narcotics and importance of compliance with traffic rules

A round table “I love life! I say NO to drugs" took place at UzhNU on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. The event was initiated by Uzhhorod National University together with the NGO "Healthy Nation" Movement" as part of the All-Ukrainian project "I love life! I say NO to drugs."

The goal of the project is to convey a simple message to society, implying that by joining our efforts we can do a lot of good things, improve our lives and the environment we live in. With the help of this project, tens of thousands of children have been informed about the harmful effects of narcotics and have made the decision never to let them into their lives, as evidenced by numerous written feedbacks.

 The chairperson of the Board of the “Healthy Nation” Movement”, the manager of the project “I Love Life! I say NO to Drugs” Svitlana Voznesenska delivered a lecture “The Truth about Drugs” in the conference hall of UzhNU. Olha Martyn, an inspector of the Public Relations Department of the Transcarpathian Patrol Police Office, gave a lecture "Safety on the Road Means Safety of Life" to draw students’ attention to the problem of compliance with traffic rules. The event was attended by the the first and second year students of the Faculties of Law, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Medicine, Information Technologies, History and International Relations.
