Lyudmyla Symochko made a report as a guest at the University of Bologna
One of the oldest European universities in Italy hosted the International Conference “Regendering Science. For an Inclusive Research Environment", which was dedicated to the issues of inclusive research in the environment. The conference was held with the support of the European Universities Consortium.
Leading scientists from the UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland participated in the scientific forum. Associate Professor Lyudmyla Symochko represented Uzhhorod National University and the Institute of Agroecology and Environmental Management. She presented her report entitled "Diversity in Research on Food Security and Risk Assessment for Human Health in Ukraine". In total, more than 200 scientists from 7 countries participated in the conference. Participants' reports have been published in the digest of the conference.
At the end, there was a B2B meeting to discuss current global trends in environmental research and the main aspects of gender mainstreaming in science, as well as possible areas for international cooperation.
