All-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days against Violence"

the all-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days against Violence" takes place in or country annually from Novemver 25th to December 10th.

Its goal s to draw public attention to the problems of overcoming domestic violence, child abuse, combating human trafficking and protecting women's rights.

The sixteen-day period of the campaign covers the following important dates:

• November 25 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

• December 1 - World AIDS Day.

• December 2 - International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.

• December 3 - International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

• December 5 - International Volunteer Day.

• December 6 - Commemoration of students shot in Montreal.

• December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day.

• December 10 - International Human Rights Day.

The Council of Europe, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine prepared and adapted information materials within the framework of the Council of Europe project "Combating Violence against Children in Ukraine":
