Uzhhorod and Budapest historians discussed “sleeping terrorism" and not only it...

On the initiative of the Department of History of Ukraine and the Center for Scientific and Social Development, a scientific discussion with participation of foreign colleagues took place at the Faculty of History of UzhNU on October 21st. A number of urgent problems of modern world history were submitted for discussion. Ukrainian, Hungarian and English were used as the working languages.

Representatives of the National University of Civil Service in Budapest spoke to students and teachers. In particular, the Director of National Security  Institute, habilitated doctor, colonel Istvan Respergher highlighted the threats associated with unrecognized Islamic state, which is now having control over parts of Iraq and Syria, home to about 8 million people, mainly Sunni Muslims.
