The dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate and Pre-university Education Ivan Chopey told about the scientific, educational activities and prospects of the faculty.
The structural unit operates in two main areas: postgraduate education and postgraduate courses for doctors, as well as pre- and post-university training. Currently, the faculty provides training of interns in 20 medical specialities necessary for Transcarpathia. These are almost all medical specialities in Ukraine. Ivan Chopey believes that the biggest problem of postgraduate education is the lack of motivation for learning. Nowadays, modern technologies are used at the faculty to check students’ knowledge regardless of their place of residence. The most important task is to improve the quality of knowledge. The faculty has started month-long courses with the use of Moodle which greatly helps in learning. It is planned to open the Academic Council for the defense of doctoral theses. Ivan Chopey also insists on the opening of the outpatient clinic on the basis of the university.
