Four students of UzhNU compete for the title of the most talented in Ukraine

Four students of UzhNU have won the 2nd round of the competition Zavtra.UA and moved to the next round of the nationwide scholarship program for talented young people. The main goal of the program which is part of Victor Pinchuk Foundation projects in the field of education and science is to foster the formation and strengthening of a new generation of intellectual and business elite of Ukraine.

The program provides financial support to Ukraine's most talented students to help them continue their education and implement their own projects, gives extra opportunities for their individual development, establishing new relationships, communication, exchange of experience and information.

In the third and final round UzhNU will be represented by third year students Bernadetta Alfeldiy and Kateryna Makhovska, a 1st year student seeking a Master’s degree, doctor-intern Khrystyna Shchubelka and a fifth year student Stepan Karabyn’osh. 

Stepan Karabyn’osh, a medical student of UzhNU, told us that it was required to write a scientific paper to become a program participant. The number of previous scientific works written by applicants was also taken into consideration. "After the second round 307 students were selected - said Stepan. - In the final round we must apply social projects which will be implemented in different regions of Ukraine, as well as answer a written task."

The winners will be granted a scholarship. The most interesting and most useful projects will also be supported.
