Faculty of Law of Trnava University awarded UzhNU scholar
The Director of the SRI for Ecclesiastical and State Law and Church and State Relations, Doctor of Theology, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Deputy Dean for international relations of the Faculty of Law of UzhNU Associate Professor Oleksandr Bilash (Archimandrite Yevfrosyn) was awarded with a commemorative medal in the hall of Collegium Novum of the Faculty of Law of Trnava University in Trnava (Slovakia) on 13 June 2017.
The decision to award the scholar from Uzhhorod with a medal "for scientific collaboration with the Law Faculty of Trnava University in Trnava and contribution into the field of scientific and educational activity" was unanimously taken by the Academic Council and according to the decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Law.
The award was given by the Dean, Associate Professor Andrea Olshovska and Vice Dean, Director of the Institute for Legal Affairs of Religious Freedom, Dr. Michaela Moravchikova. Mrs. Olshovska noted that the law schools of both universities and the SRI for Ecclesiastical and State Law and Church and State Relations of UzhNU had been fruitfully collaborating in the scientific field in the last few years. Three joint international scientific conferences have been organized and held in Trnava, joint scientific works have been published, documents for Erasmus + have been prepared.
Associate Professor Oleksandr Bilash conveyed the Dean of the Law Faculty of UzhNU, Professor Yaroslav Lazur’s greetings and thanked the faculty and the members of the Academic Council for the high award and expressed his hopes that it was only the beginning of cooperation which would be even more intense and fruitful in the future.
